I am noticing all the dents in everyones automobiles and I was wondering where does one go to learn the trade of taking out the dents on our cars ? Now I’m not talking about the big dents in the cars, just the small dents in the automobiles.

While there are schools for this…you could also get a job as a prep person at a body shop…thats how most people start…that way you make a little money to learn instead of spending it…
There are several schools, there may even be one in your town. You want to look for classes that offer bodywork.
An excellent way to learn is to work as an apprentice to someone who is already in bodywork. That is what I did (yeah, I’m a girl and can do resto body work on cars, big deal) and you can learn not only the textbook stuff, but also the little tricks of the trade that only come with experience.
It isn’t difficult and it can be very lucrative, especially if you do spot paint for nicks and scratches as well. I did that for a while, but I just did not enjoy it. However, if you do that you can even get contracts with car lotsin your area. The cars on lots are always getting dented and nicked.

The trick basically is pick a spot where you can actually apply force without leaving any marks. Usually, that means removing any trim and use the trim mounting holes. If it’s far from a trim piece, then you need to drill hole and insert “pullers” and pull until smooth, then fill in the hole later. If metal won’t bend, it’s time for Bondo ™.
Once the surface is smooth, it’s just a matter of repainting it with the right color.

Just search for automotive schools, and you should find somthing. Look for body repair classes.
Also your local junior college probably has courses in body repair.
