microsoft office 2007 came fully installed on my latop and it ask me for a product key ev erytime i go to use word. i would like to know where to find this product key.

That’s a free trial that is or was good for 25 uses or 60 days. If you haven’t been able to use it, just click the Continue button without any product key entered.
If you have been using it and the trial has run out, you have to buy a copy of Office to get a product key. Here are some of your options:
Note: The 25-character product key on the computer case or laptop bottom is NOT the key for MS Office. It’s only for the Windows operating system.

Note that the higher of the two prices quoted is for a full version of that program and the lower, for upgrades from existing software. Read the list of upgrade-qualifying software carefully: MS Works is often one, and may have come on your machine.
Finally, if you have files that are locked up in the new Word 2007 file format (.docx), here’s a possibility for salvaging them. Microsoft offers a free Compatibility pack that allows earlier versions of Word to read Word 2007 files. If you have access to an earlier version, this can at least give you back your documents. Some new features of Word 2007 will be lost or converted to straight text in the conversion to the earlier version.

if you have the full version, then inside the box where the cd’s slide out from, look on the back of that. it is hard to find, because they hide it for some dumb reason.
It was on my computer too. I got the same thing.. that’s because it was trial. And probably yours is trial too. Of course it has all or most of the features until the expiry date.
