actually you can use what jewelers in the trade call a slurry its basically a mix of pure baking soda and water apply it with a soft tooth brush also there is the commercially sold cleaners but thats more for the stones and only removes surface dirt from the metal the baking soda will do small amounts of polishing so the metal is actually shinier of course if your trying to clean your white gold jewelery because its starting to look yellow its probably not dirty at all its just the plating coming off and if thats the case then you should take it to a local jeweler to have it polished professionally and re rhodium plated that should only cost you 20-30 per ring and will last a long time as well as making your jewelery look like it did when it was new hope that helps you
The best jewelry cleaner I use is called Connoisseurs. It is even recommend by Good Housekeeping. It’s available at Kmart, Walmart, Rite Aid, or http://www.connoisseurs.com. It makes your jewelry just sparkle! Almost all White Gold has a Rhodium Plating over it and toothpaste can wear off the rhodium faster because of its gritty texture.
Use a soft cloth and butane.
I always used the jewelry cleaner that’s sold in jewelry stores or Walmart until my stepmom told me about using toothpaste. It works really well. Just get a cheap soft toothbrush and use a little of any kind of toothpaste. It will shine beautifully. I wouldn’t advice using dish soap. It won’t hurt it, but some of them can leave a film on the diamond that will make it look dull.
well they make white gold cleaning rags
Take an old, soft toothbrush and run it through warm water. Put a dab of dish liquid on it and brush the ring gently. Rinse with warm water and dry with a soft towel. Should be shiny and clean and this won’t harm it.
go to your local wal-mart. They have jewelry cleaner there. My mom got some and it really works for all kinds of metels.
omg i have a method that works great! first wet what ur cleaning then scrub tooth paste on them with your fingers after like 30 seconds you can stop then wash them off and there you go…i no it sounds wierd but it works really works!!
You can go to Wal-Mart and get jewlery cleaner for that.
