My boyfriend and I will be having our year anniversary coming in August. I have known him for five years and am wanting to get him something special. He has been seriously looking into classical guitars for quite some time now. I do not however want to spend over $500. Any advice would be helpful.

You could get a pretty good classical guitar with $500. Try looking at some Takamine, and Yamaha brands.
