Travel and Tourism
I’m interested in pursuing a career in the Travel and Tourism Industry. I am wondering what state or city in the USA has a really good Travel and Tourism industry. It would be great if you could help.
Im not exactly set on being a Flight Attendant but it interests me so what would be the best place for that and what degrees etc. do you need to have in the USA to become a Flight Attendant or any other jobs in the that industry.
I’m definately not planning on going into the industry as of yet as I am still in school and quite far off from finishing and Yes, I understand that you need to be a citizen etc.

You must be US citizen to be flight attendant.
But you can work in hotel, casino….many Filipinos work in cruise ship.
The current economy is not a good time to enter this industry. It would be very difficult to keep from being laid off often, even if you found a job. There are long waiting lists of laid-off people for jobs as flight attendants and most other travel-related jobs. It will take many years before the travel and tourism industry recovers as it is usually one of the last industries to recover from hard times.
It may sound glamourous, but the working conditions are hard and the pay is usually very low.
Think about a second choice for a career.
