Just set it once and it’s done! The cities that are shown around the ring on the inner dial are the accepted cities that typically represent each time zone. The elegance and grace of The Traveler is evidenced by the magnificent guillochè soleil dial-work on its face. The guillochè dial has been hydraulically embossed with more than fifty impressions by true watch-making artisans using a time-honored technique used in only the finest of timepieces. This type of dial-work in The Traveler has become a hallmark of Stührling Original. The sleek leaf style hands and individually applied delicate Arabic numerals are a chic complement to the poise of this timepiece. The twenty-four hour wheel in the center features attractive printed italicized Arabic numerals and the date aperture window just above the six o’clock position is stylishly cut into the dial with an inverted beveled effect. Only the finest 316L surgical grade stainless steel is used to construct the 40-millimeter round case of The Traveler and the crystal through which you see the face is a Krysterna™ crystal for true strength and durability. The bezel is beveled and polished to harmonize with the high-polish finish on the case. There is a notched opening just below the crown for ease in grabbing and using the pull-out knurled edge crown, and the screw-down case-back is decorated with a globe and the name Traveler embossed splendidly in case you want to “show-off” your new watch! The perfectly padded alligator embossed genuine French leather strap is 20 millimeters wide with quick release pins for easy interchangeability and also features a waterproof liner to repel sweat to increase the life expectancy of the strap.
