I’m moving and I have hundreds of magazines (Sports, fitness, travel, food, parents, etc) and I wouldn’t like to put them in the garbage. Is there a place where I can take them?
Maybe kids could use them to cut pictures or something

I took mine to the zoo yesterday and tomorrow we’re going to the cinema
schools or maybe half-price books might buy them. I have tons of magazines too, I am glad you asked your question!
Some used bookstores may actually buy them. I’ve sold mine to “Half Priced-Books”. Not sure if that’s in your area.
What kinds of magazine do you have?? If I like them!! I will $$ you for them!!! Why do what other tell you to do.. When you could make a little bit of $$ for them!!
the recycling or bookmans
If you have a recycling center in your area they should take them. Another option: call the schools to see if the art teachers could use them, try a nearby college art dept too. Check with the library too, they might accept them. Try a Boys and Girls Club or another center for kids. I would definitely try the college art dept, my color and design class revolved around cutting pic from magazines.
either recycle them or take them to your library. i know my library accepts them and they put them in these cubees so other people can take them out and read them.. its like recycle reading
If you want them to be used by kids, try local schools. Also try local public libraries, thrift shops, doctors’ offices, etc . . .
Public Library (they have donations racks for magazines)
Senior Center
Retirement Homes
Doctor’s Offices
Homeless Shelters
Domestic Violence Shelters
New Mom Centers (sometimes called unwed mothers homes)
High school Art Teachers
Remember to remove the mailing labels
Please consider giving them to your local high school. I teach..have been a teacher for 19 years…and we are always in need of magazines. We use them for everything from art projects to research items. The library of the school will undoubtedly be thrilled that you are kind enough to give them such a donation. Thank you for not automatically tossing them away!
Seniors home is the best place for used magazines. Dropping them off at a hospital is also a good idea.
