Well, I currently have two dumbbells and I want to work on my biceps and triceps cuz’ for me, they look skinny. I recently saw a website, http://www.sport-fitness-advisor.com/dumbbellexercises.html , and this showed me all that I need to do. The question is, I don’t know how many repetitions I have to do per exercise. How many repetitions?
Pls. answer, Thanks

You have to decide what you want to achieve.
For strength low reps 1-7 reps
For building muscles medium reps 8-11 reps
For endurance high reps 12+
Make sure that no matter what range you chose you have to make sure that you have enough weight to make the last few reps almost impossible. Do 3 or 4 sets of each exercise. No matter what you want to achieve, switch it up every few weeks to keep your muscles surprised and challenged.
how heavy is ur weight set? if it’s heavy u can do low reps like 8 – 10 but if its not too heavy u can do a lot of reps like 12 – 15
heavy weigth with low rep will gain size
light weight with many rep will make your arm lean
if u think ur arm is skiny what u can do is lift some heavy dumbell for 8 – 10 but it has to go to the point where u cant lift it after 8 or 10 rep , if u feel that u cant do it anymore that is the correct way to build size
to really gain size it should be something like this
8 – 10 rep of arm curl
8 – 10 rep of trip kick back
8 – 10 rep of static arm curl
then do ur tripcep
then come back and do ur bicep keep switching like this with like 15 sec rest and in couple months u should see result , after u finish working out drink ur protein shake , theres this thing call myoplex lite which is a protein shake but low in calorie , this way u will gain size and rip at the same time , when i work out my arm it takes about an hour or so , if u just do 4 – 5 excercise and keep repeating it should take an hour as well
