If you are a current MBA student, then you must know this phrase… Buy when there is blood on the streets. Well, this phrase applies to investing in your education as well.
Look at it this way, this current economic crisis will have to pass. When it does, investment banks and others will once again be looking to hire individuals to grow their business. By that time, the people that were going to school will be entering the job market.
Additionally, remember that there are a lot of different areas to the finance field. I currently work at a private company as an analyst, and I must say that we have plenty of work.
So, in my personal opinion, I believe that if you are currently an MBA working with an investment house, then you might be in problems. However, if you are in the private sector, it might cause some concern but you don’t have to hit the panic button. But, if you are barely a student, then you are in a great position… because while everyone will be running out, you will be running in… and that’s how fortunes are made!!!
