I like to use them for tips, and kids’ gifts but they look so ugly when they become tarnished. Is there an easy way to restore them to their original gold appearance?

vinegar and salt
Vinegar and baking soda. Make a paste. Scrub gently with an old toothbrush. Rinse. Great toothfairy gift!
use a jewelry cleaner that is made specifically for gold.
Use oxyclean. That’ll help well.
The posh hotels in New York use toilet bowl cleaner to clean their change so that they don’t present dirty change to customers. I think an overnight soak in a weak solution ought to do it.
cut a lemon wedge and put salt on it the acid from the lemon in combination with the salt will make the gold dollars look brand new
If you leave them to soak in coke overnight, that should do the trick!
this is a very very hard thing to do..if you do it wrong you will lose a little bit of the gold…so I am a very gifted gold cleaner..send them to me and I will clean them from you…
try going to a shop that sells collectible coins they have a special liquid you can dip them into..
good luck
and
smile
LIME-A-WAY, scrub in lime-a-way and a toothbrush, make sure that it is a tooth brush that you don’t use anymore tho
windex
Try dipping them in lemon juice
Usually a polishing cloth with rouge or just simply was them with a mild detergentlike dish soap then it wont scratch them
you can’ if you do they wont be gold any more
