I beleave i posted this before and did not get a suffnificant answer. I was wondering how i can speed up my computers internet connection without getting a faster internet.
If someone also knows how to fix my games so it isnt always laggy when i log onto it. It looks like i am jumping around and not normally walking. The game is: Half Life 2.

regularly cleaning your cache and removing unwanted cookies will help your speed. Also make your history is stored for a limited time. Dont store lots of junk on your system. This will help too. A better video card will make the game more pliable, and make sure you have the screen to the correct resolution as well.
I bet that you were not willing to accept the HARD TRUTH. When your on-line connection is SLOW…. it’s just plain SLOW. There is no real magic to get it faster. If you are using dial-up at Half Life 2, YOU’RE DEAD.
But if you have spyware issues that ties up your broadband, use some tools to clean it up. You should have an anti-spyware solution on your computer. I recommend that you go to http://www.download.com and get AD-AWARE and SpyBot Search & Destory. Install, run, update and scan your computer with both programs.
