Trade and Industry
For my history homework I need to come up with a short story about a laborer from the North or South during the time when the North was advancing in industry and trade with the invention of steam powered engines and the South was advancing with agriculture, like growing cotton. The person can be from either places and the story has to have them moving from where they’re from to the other location and describe what the experience might be like. I’m just looking for some help in starting this because I have no clue how to begin this. Thanks to whoever answers!
